Alice woke up in an Umbrella base , which had been arrested in Arcadia . Jill interrogate Alice , who unsuccessfully asked him to remember his real identity . During the electric set by Ada Wong ( associate of Albert Wesker ) , Alice escapes from the cell and meet him . There explained that he and Wesker no longer working for Umbrella . Wesker plan to help escape bases Alice and the Red Queen supercomputer battle , to save what remains of humanity . There was also revealed that the base was under water and serves as a testing ground for experimentation . Furthermore , Wesker has organized a group of freelance operatives to infiltrate the base and help Alice and Ada escape , including Leon S. Kennedy , Barry Burton , and Luther West .
Along the way , Alice finds a clone of a young girl named Becky , who believes Alice is her mother . They also face a mock version of Carlos Olivera , One , and Rain Ocampo , who are all under the direction of Jill . After Alice met with rescue teams , Jill soldiers pursued them , causing a firefight that killed Barry , Carlos and One . Alice, Luther , Leon , and Becky reach the surface and filled with submarines , of which Jill , Rain clone , and arrested There appears . With the new orders from the Red Queen to kill Alice , Alice Jill battle while now " enhanced" Rain , fights Leon and Luther , the Luther is killed in the process . Alice managed to remove and destroy the scarab from Jill , returning back to normal . Alice joined Leon in beating Rain .
